HTML & Dreamweaver Final

Create a WEB site constructed using all of the tools and know how that you accumulated in your HTML class. The purpose of the site is to present a winter resort called 'Magic Springs'.  The resort is located in Yellowstone Springs, Colorado. You decide what attractions, such as skiing, snowboarding, etc., are available to potential visitors. You decide how many rooms the hotel has, how many restaurants, and other guest accommodations they offer.

The site should include:

Ø     Text links to other sites such as Mapquest to obtain directions.

Ø     Text and graphical links to other pages within your site to describe the room and dining accommodations.

Ø     Internal style sheet formatting

Ø     External stylesheet formatting

Ø     Table constructs that display borders

Ø     Table constructs that do not display borders

Ø     Layers and overlapping layers

Ø     Pages that open as separate windows when called.

Ø     Image rollovers

Ø     Hyperlinks that change color, size, & case when rolled over.

Ø     And whatever you think will enhance your site …

To the best of your ability, all images are to be of your own design.  Remember that you may create graphics with PowerPoint if you have no other graphics software.

All work is to be of your own creation.  No cloning of existing WEB pages, sites, etc.

You will have the site submitted to me via a zipped e-mail attachment.  Remember that all files, pages, images, folders associated with your site must be included in your submittal or I will not be able to see your content and I will grade it accordingly.

You must have the site completed and delivered via e-mail to bryandc@comcast.net by midnight, Sunday, January 27, 2008.  All work is to be zipped/compressed into ONE folder. All I want submitted is your one folder. Make sure you test your site on at least one different computer before you send it to me.

I will evaluate your work based on the content, presentation, and employment of techniques that you were taught. More is better!

 

Challenge:

Incorporate a Navigation Bar in your site and I will give 5 extra points to your exam grade.  Incorporate an IFrame and I will give you 10 extra points.
